INFANT/TODDLER 9 months up to 3 years. Parent/Adult must accompany child in the water. July 12, 14, 15, 19, & 21 5:15-5:45pm

PRIVATE LESSONS or SEMI-PRIVATE: Weeks of June 7-11 or July 26-30 9:ooam-12:30pm

LESSON FEES: All Learn-to-Swim classes $15.00/student Private & Semi-Private $55.00/student Guardstart $40.00/student with book or $15.00/student, no book *Payment must accompany registration.* Swimming Lesson Procedures:

*Swim lesson registration will begin on May 15, 2010. Late registrations will be accepted at the pool beginning June 5, 2010, and up until one week before the start of the class. Phone, mail, or drop-off registrations will not be accepted.

*If you are unsure of how to place your child, a complete description of classes can be found at www.cityofrockvalley.com or at the Community Recreation Director’s Office. Instructors will also be available to answer questions at the sign-up.

*Minimum number of students: At least 5 students must be registered for a class one week prior to the start date. If less than 5, class will be cancelled and parents will be notified.

*Reimbursement offered for entire class cancellation or emergencies/special situations only.

*All classes are two weeks, Monday-Friday (unless noted). Attendance for the entire class is a requirement. Please inform instructor if you have a conflict. Make-up lessons will be offered for illness or family emergencies. Make-up lessons for all other absences may be arranged with an individual instructor at the private lesson rate ($9/thirty minutes).

*In case of inclement weather or pool maintenance, please listen to KSOU 93.9FM or call the pool before arriving.

*Make-up days for weather or pool maintenance MAY be required on Saturday morning(s) or at night.

*Parents/Family/Friends are encouraged to watch the swimmers! But, for the safety of patrons and consideration of the instructors, ONLY STUDENTS are allowed in the pool area during public or private lessons. A grass area next to the training pool and shade area in the park are great places to view the classes—lawn chairs are welcome! Your help is appreciated! The Red Cross has determined that the quality of instruction has often been affected by parent and/or sibling distraction, interruptions, or various other concerns that may interfere with class interactions.
