This is Jazzy, Jumpin’ January,

We are already in the 2nd week of the New Year! In Mary Kay we are sooo luck because we get to celebrate New Year’s TWICE a year! That’s right – for New Consultants who may not know… We celebrate New Year’s on January 1st like the rest of the world, AND we also have our fiscal New Year’s in Mary Kay. The fiscal New Year is July 1st of every year!

Ladies, take advantage of what the New Year brings. I can think of two major items… #1) As is it New Year’s, women want to spend their Holiday Money looking and feeling great! As we have new lipsticks and new mineral powder foundations to help them. And #2) it is not too early to think about marketing your Valentine’s Day Gift Collections. Valentine’s Day is only 5 weeks away, but you want to get the husbands or significant others of your customers to shop EARLY. A great, general idea is a Pamper Me Basket. Men love to shop when it is effortless!! So, market yourself as their personal shopper!

Start your New Year off on the right foot – with sales, prospects and cheer! I believe in each one of you and I thank you for all that you do and all that you are to me. There are only 6 months left in our Mary Kay year. Let’s reach, stretch, push, pull and get all the blessings that God has waiting for you and only you!

Love, Stacey

Mineral Powder Foundations (available now!)

A foundation that goes on with the sweep of a brush. A weightless powder that blends effortlessly for a flawless look. A skin perfecter that makes lines, wrinkles and other imperfections seem to disappear. It’s transfer-resistant, so it won’t fade away midday.

WHAT’S THE BUZZ IN THE MARKETPLACE? Mineral-based products are the hot trend in cosmetics. Growing As more consumers strive to lead healthier lifestyles, being “natural” and using more botanicals or mineral-sourced ingredients in food and personal care products continue to gain huge popularity.

WHO ARE YOUR CUSTOMERS? Mineral Powder Foundation provides an additional foundation option to the current Mary Kay® foundation line. This product can be used by women of all ages and all skin types, suitable for sensitive skin.

WHAT MAKES MINERAL POWDER FOUNDATION DIFFERENT FROM OTHER FACIAL POWDERS? Mary Kay® Mineral Powder Foundation is a foundation in powder form. This weightless formula blends for a flawless look and evens out skin tone while providing buildable coverage with the comfort of a silky powder. It’s transfer-resistant and won’t fade away midday.

WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO APPLY MARY KAY® MINERAL POWDER FOUNDATION?

1. Cleanse and moisturize face, allowing moisturizer and other treatments to become dry to the touch.

2. With the jar lid on, gently shake the jar to dispense the foundation into the sifter.

3. Remove the lid and dip the Mineral Foundation Brush into the powder, tapping against the rim of

the jar to remove excess. It is not necessary to use all of the powder — a little goes a long way.

4. Swirl the Mineral Foundation Brush inside the lid so that the powder is worked into the bristles.

5. To apply, start in the center of the face and work out to either side toward the hairline and along the jawline, blending well. For a light, natural coverage, a single, thin layer should be enough. For

increased coverage, repeat the application process, applying the Mineral Powder Foundation in thin layers until the desired coverage level is achieved.

HOW CAN I HELP MY CUSTOMERS CHOOSE THE RIGHT SHADE?

Christian New Year’s Resolutions

How can I use the New Year To better serve my Lord? I’ll read my Bible every day, And be more in accord.

I’ll find new ways to serve others; I’ll love my neighbor, too. I’ll focus on "give" instead of "get" In everything I do.

I’ll forgive the people I’m mad at; Angry feelings I’ll discard; I’ll try to love my enemies, Even though it’s hard.

In the new year, I’ll lift people up, Instead of putting them down. I’ll fill my heart with love and joy, And never wear a frown.

I’ll let go of my worries; I’ll put it all in His hands; I’ll repent and try to sin less, And obey all His commands. These new year’s resolutions Are difficult, at best, But there’s something I can do each day That will put my soul at rest:

I’ll love my Lord with all my heart, With all my mind and soul, And if I do that essential thing, All the rest will be in control.
