Final Reports: 2016-2017 Competitive Rural Reserve Grants

Competitive grants were awarded to eligible secondary recipients, on a competitive basis, to support special projects focused on development, improvement and/or expansion of CTE programs in rural areas to address local, regional or statewide workforce development needs in high skill, high wage, or high demand occupations in critical or emerging industries.

Projects were required to focus on increasing performance on specific Perkins performance indicators, including specific activities to target 6S1-Nontraditional Enrollment and 6S2-Nontraditional Completion, and at least one of the following: 1) partnerships with business and industry and enhancement of work based learning experiences within pathway courses 2) enhancing or expanding capacity to meet statewide or regional workforce development needs 3) increasing the number of industry recognized credentials and/or dual credit opportunities for students

Final reports must contain the following Section A. Cover page (template on page 2) Section B. Final financial report (template on page 3) Section C. Narrative report of activities and results (outline on page 4)
