PTSA Leadership Report

MORP Dance This year we are trying a new dance in place of Sadie’s called MORP. MORP (Prom spelled backwards) is a tacky prom in which people should dress in old school outfits preferably something goofy or just plain tacky. During the dance, teachers will be judging outfits to see who has the best costume and prizes will be given to the students with the tackiest outfits. Students will also see some of our own teachers from their Prom’s as the pictures will be displayed in the quad throughout the week.

Location and Cost: MORP will be held on Feb. 6 from 7:30PM to 10:30PM at Golden Skate in San Ramon. Tickets are $10 w/ASB and $15 w/o ASB.

When/Where Tickets are Sold: Tickets go on sale Jan. 25th online. Tickets will be sold on the back patio behind the Book Keeper’s office. Because the dance is off campus permission slips are required and can be turned in to the back patio also. The maximum capacity at Golden Skate is 1300 so get your tickets quickly. All grades are invited and non SRV guests are allowed to come!

Buying Tickets: Online sales are through the SRVHS website on the web store. If you do not purchase your ticket on the web store, you can purchase your ticket and turn in your permission slip at lunch with cash or a check in the book keeper’s office during the week of Jan 26th. Remember you must have a student ID to purchase a dance ticket.

Permission Slip and Guest Pass Information: All purchases must turn in a permission slip in order to enter the dance. All guests must have the guest section filled out on the permission slip in order to attend. Permission slips are on the SRVHS website. All permission slips should be turned in at lunch to the designated area on the back patio outside the book keeper’s office. Remember: 1. Buy your ticket online (online is preferred, but tickets will also be on sale at lunch in the book keeper’s office) 2. Print your web store transaction receipt 3. Bring your web store transaction receipt, signed and completed MORP Permission Slip and SRVHS student ID card to the back patio outside the book keeper’s office at lunch from January 25-30th to receive your MORP ticket and to be on the entrance list into the dance. *Students will not be allowed entrance into MORP unless their names have been checked off. A web store transaction receipt is not a ticket and will not grant you entrance into MORP!
