Duties and Responsibilities: Heating and HVAC outside Salesman Position requires that the successful individual:

1. Call on heating and plumbing wholesale distributors, trade contractors, building owners and engineers.

2. Actively pursue technical applications for heating and HVAC systems.

3. Create pull through opportunities that will generate sales.

4. Design and layout systems from a design build perspective

5. Work with engineers to obtain specifications.

6. Develop and present effective product and systems presentations

7. Be able to conduct educational training classes with regard to hydronic products, especially boilers and water heaters.

8. Develop relationships throughout the market

9. Develop a business plan for the territory

10. Be accountable for and deliver sales targets and sales as developed in the business plan.

Key competencies: an aggressive self-starter with a strong work ethic, good sense of self, will to learn, developed sales instincts, self-motivation, competitive, able to work with a team and within a set of company parameters, organized, customer focused, results oriented and a problem solver. Technical expertise is a must as is at least 5 years of experience in the same or like industry.
