Southern Wiltshire Neighbourhood Policing Team - Alderbury & Laverstock Beat Local crime reports The list below provides a summary of recent local crimes from 1st to 28th February 2011. It is not possible to list all the crimes due to confidentially issues (e.g. if the crime was violent or for domestic disputes). 04/03 - Theft - Heating oil stolen from tank to the value of approximately £500. 08/03 - Criminal damage - Mechanics of motorcycle tampered with causing damage. 09/03 - Burglary - Entry gained to an unused out-building. Nothing stolen. ALDERBURY 12/03 - Criminal Damage - Rocks thrown through greenhouse window located within allotments. 13/03 - Burglary - Entry gained to a locked shed and a hedge cutter removed from within. 24/03 - Criminal Damage - Ornamental urn knocked from pedestal causing it to break. 26/03 - Theft - 8ft of protective piping stolen from rear garden fence. CLARENDON No reported crimes FARLEY No reported crimes FIRSDOWN 17/03 - Theft from Motor Vehicle - While parked at beauty spot, car window smashed. Nothing stolen FORD No reported crimes GRIMSTEADS 17/03 - Fly Tipping - Quantity of building rubble and other property tipped onto private land. LANDFORD 19/03 – Burglary – Entry gained by breaking window in rear door at this time appears nothing taken. 09/03 - Criminal Damage - Damage caused to wire fencing by means of cutting and melting. 12/03 - Theft from Motor Vehicle - Side window of vehicle smashed. Wallet and camera stolen. LAVERSTOCK 12/03 - Burglary - Attempt made to gain entry to a communal shed. 19/03 - Burglary - Entry gained to garage. Pit bike stolen from within. 22/03 - Criminal Damage - Graffiti tags sprayed onto garden wall next to a public footpath. 14/03 - Theft from Motor Vehicle - High value theft from vehicle after smashing side window. OLD SARUM 17/03 - Criminal Damage - Rear window to car smashed while parked on the driveway. Nothing stolen. 25/03 - Burglary - 40litres of aviation fuel stolen from containers following a burglary. WEST DEAN No reported crimes WHITEPARISH 03/03 – Theft - Quantity of car batteries stolen from farm, silver vehicle seen leaving the premises. 02/03 - Theft - Attempt theft of lead from garage roof 06/03 - Theft - Lead stolen from the roof of a newly built extension WINTERSLOW 14/03 - Criminal Damage - Wires pulled out from the rear of surveillance equipment. 27/03 - Criminal Damage - Rear windscreen to a vehicle smashed. Nothing stolen. Current local priorities Police Visibility Reassurance – Area wide Theft – Cross border liaison with Hants police Anti Social Behaviour – Moot Lane, The Borough, Downton Alderbury & Laverstock NPT have a new name!! As part of the process of realignment with our local area board, the two Neighbourhood Policing teams based at Alderbury Police Station (Downton NPT and Alderbury & Laverstock NPT) have been brought together under the newly named 'Southern Wiltshire NPT'. There are no changes to staffing levels, we still have our own 'Alderbury & Laverstock Beat' with myself, Pc Henry Clissold as Beat Manager and Pcso Kim WESTON as our Community Support Officer.
