Applewood Pony Stud & Riding Stables Summer Camp 2011 11th – 13th January

Riders will be given instruction in  Stable management  Horsemanship (inc. Plaiting and presenting for a horse show) Bandaging, Lunging.  Riding including, Flat Work, Pole work, Bush Ride. Lessons will be given by Sharon Jarvis(EFA NCAS L1 Coach) 2008 Paralympian, World Equestrian Games Dual Bronze Medalist 2010  Other Activities may include Videos, Quizzes, Swimming, Marroning, Red Faces Night., Craft (please bring photos of you with horses that you can cut up, if you wish), Visit to Apple Fun Park  End of Camp Fun Afternoon

Cost: $350 with/without own pony.(Rider must be a member of the EFA or a member of an EFA affiliated club)(If not a member of EFA please get membership details from www.equestrianwa.org.au need to be a basic member or junior member) What you need to bring: Sleeping gear *Mattress *Sleeping Bag *Pillow Riding Clothes *Helmet *Horse Riding Boots *Jodhpurs/Leggings * No loose, baggy, flapping clothing, no jewelry to be worn, long hair to be tied back. *File with paper *Pens & pencils *Glue *Scissors *Drink Bottle *Clothes *PJ’s *Raincoat *Sun Hat *Bathers *Towel *Toiletries *Sunscreen *Anything Else! If Bringing your own pony *Grooming Kit *Saddle *Saddle Blankets *Work Boots *Bridle *Rugs *Feed Bin *Water Bucket *Feed for Pony *Anything else your pony needs. *Basic Show Prep equipment if you have it * Lunging equipment if you have it *Bandages and Leg pads if you have them Please have your belongings named !!! Drop off: 10th January Day before camp starts 5:00 – 7:00pm, Applewood Pony Stud Stables 365 Upper Capel Rd. Donnybrook. Pick Up: The last afternoon will be a fun afternoon, the day should finish around 4:00pm (depending on how hot it is.)
