RE: CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE ACT OF THE PENNSYLVANIA LEGISLATURE 1961, JUNE 13, P.L. 282 (53 SECTION 8004) AND BETHLEHEM ORDINANCE NO. 3952 AS AMENDED.
WHEREAS, it is proposed to install 2 sets of silhouette lighted signs at 322 E. 3rd St.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Bethlehem that a Certificate of Appropriateness is hereby granted for the work.

CASE # 338 – It is proposed to install 2 sets of silhouette lighted signs at 322 E. 3rd St. OWNER/APPLICANT: Third & Polk Development / Reed Sign Co.
The Commission upon motion by Mr. Loush and seconded by Ms. Heitmann adopted the proposal that City Council issue a Certificate of Appropriateness for the proposed work described herein:
1. The proposal to install 2 sets of silhouette lighted signs at 322 E. 3rd St was presented by Bud Reed.
2. One sign will be on the Polk St. side and one on the 3rd St. side. The signs will read “St Luke’s” and will be approximately 3’ 10” high x 11’ 4” wide each.
3. The signs will be composed of 1 ½” deep aluminum fabricated letters with white LED silhouette lighting. The signs will be spaced off the wall surface by 2” and painted in St. Luke’s standard blue.
4. The signs will be placed one bay from the corner on the Polk St. side and centered in the main storefront bay facing E. Third St. as proposed. Both signs will be located between the second and third floor windows.
5. The proposed work was approved by a unanimous vote.
