As always, if we are not aware of your problems we will not be in a position to tackle them. We encourage members of the public to contact us with any issues they have on 101.

You can also sign up to ‘Cheshire Police Alert’. This allows the public to register as system users and receive e-mail, text and voice message alerts sent from Cheshire Constabulary. You can also choose to receive alerts from information providers such as: The Police and Crime Commissioner, Neighbourhood Watch, Cheshire Fire and Rescue and Cheshire East & West Councils.

Burglaries

Incidents reported relating to residential property: o Stanlow/Wolverham area –  Ludlow Drive – Offenders using a ladder to enter property through an insecure casement window have taken cash a quantity of cash. o Whitby area –  Lundy Drive – Entry gained by forcing rear wooden framed window. Very untidy search made so property taken has not yet been provided/

Incidents reported relating to business premises: o Westminster area –  Unit 1-6, Gibson Ct., Portside – Offenders have removed sheet cladding and smashed through brick wall to access premises. Bosch drill and Paslode nail airgun taken. o Rossmore area –  Ellesmere Port Golf Centre, Chester Road – Panel forced from rear door to gain entry. Till drawer with float and £200 of golf clubs taken. Acer and Benross Trimass sand irons/wedges.

Incidents reported relating to outbuildings/garden: o Westminster area –  Standingwood Avenue – Insecure garage entered and mountain bike, Dyson vacuum cleaner and black golf bag, containing full set of Ping clubs taken. o Groves area –  Horstone Road – White Specialized Hard Rock mountain bike taken from secure detached garage. Criminal Damage

Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles: o Westminster area –  Penn Gardens – Unknown object thrown at living room window causing it to smash. o Central area –  Arthur Avenue – Front living room window damaged by unknown means.  Port Arcades, Town Centre – Group of youths removed by security have kicked door frame upon leaving, causing damage. o Rossmore area –  Pound Road – Front window smashed by unknown means.

Theft

Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft: o Stanlow/Wolverham area –  Growhow Ltd, Ince – Offenders enter site by unknown means and take £30k worth of steel piping. o Westminster area –  ABB Capacitors UK, Rossmore Road East – Males in a Transit enter site and take pallet with 40 x 10” reels of wiring cable. o Rossmore area –  Chester Road – After having a demonstration of a vacuum cleaner caller has noticed their credit card missing. o Neston area –  Earle Drive, Parkgate – Royal Mail post box is forced open and contents taken.

Vehicle Crime

Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt theft of motor vehicles: o Rossmore area –  Tesco Express car park, Windways – Keys to Fiat Doblo HV11 UNG, hire car, dropped by customer on way into store. Offender has picked up keys and taken vehicle.

Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles: o Stanlow/Wolverham area –  Langley Court – Citroen Picasso has rear window forced open with tree branch. Cash and sat. nav. taken from within the central storage compartment. o Ledsham area –  Woodhey Hotel, Berwick Road – Ford Transit has rear doors forced to gain entry. Toolbox containing tools taken. o Rossmore area –  Clayhill Green – Vauxhall Corsa parked on a residential driveway has fuel siphoned from tank.

Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles: o Central area –  The Knot car park, town centre – Renault Clio has extensive denting caused to body work after 4 males were seen ramming a shopping trolley into it. o Pooltown area –  Grappenhall Road – Peugeot is scratched down the passenger door by unknown person.  Pooltown Road – Attempt made to force fuel cap on Ford Escort. Cap cover taken. o Rivacre area –  Hawthorn Road – Renault Clio, parked at the road side, has deep scratch made into the drivers’ door. o Neston area –  Frobisher Road – Renault Scenic has all four tyres slashed.

Other incidents of note - Arson

 This week there have been 2 reports of fires received from the Fire service.

o West Vale, Neston – Domestic recycling boxes on roadside set alight. o Newbridge Road, Ellesmere Port – Small grass fire on area of scrub land.
