Objective To obtain a full time position which offers a professional working within maintenance services and enables me to grow while meeting the corporation’s goals. Education BE in Industrial & Management Engineering, Beirut Arab University, Beirut, Lebanon.

Final Year Project (Vibration Analysis)

Project procedure: 1-Generating the root of the mechanical components using a vibration software (Ascent) and then importing it to the vibration device (Commtest VB7). 2-Measuring vibration periodically at the port’s cranes on mechanical systems composed of AC motors, Reducers, & Bearings using the vibration device. 3-Studying how to diagnose vibration spectrums with the aid of iLearn Interactive, vibration school website, and some books. 4-Diagnosing all the vibration spectrums and specify the condition of each mechanical component according to the pattern of the spectrums we obtained through measuring vibration. 5-Drawing trend plots of the vibration amplitudes with respect to time, and try to predict the assumed failure date in order to replace defected parts before this date. 6-Giving our recommendations to the maintenance manager at the port through a well prepared report. Experience 2011-present (1YEAR) Asset Peak Performance, Lebanon (www.assetpeakperformance.com)

I am preparing to sit for Level 2 certificate from Mobius Institute soon.

Predictive maintenance: 1. Solving machinery problems in several large factories like cement plants, power plants, food processing, and blown film lines …. 2. Vibration data collection using the Commtest VB7 vibration analyzer device. 3. Analysis for vibration spectrums on the Commtest Ascent Level 3 software and troubleshooting problems based on “Technical Associate of Charlotte” and “Mobius Institute”. 4. Building analysis reports providing the condition of the tested machines and giving recommendations based on the severity of the problem and the criticality of the machine. 5. Building machine history for several customers. 6. Performing motor current signature analysis and troubleshooting most electric motor problems such as cracked or broken rotor bars, eccentric rotor, stator eccentricity... 7. Performing thermal imaging surveys.

Proactive maintenance: 1. Performing on site dynamic balancing for fans and discs using the VB7 vibration analyzer. 2. Performing belt and shaft laser alignment using the easy laser devices. Lubrication management: 1. Determining the right type of grease to be used in bearings, the quantity needed for re-lubrication, and the re- lubrication interval. 2. Performing oil cleanliness test according to ISO 4406. 3. Preparation of lubrication management programs. 4. Studying the effect of lubricants on vibration. 5. Hydraulic system flushing service for several customers. 6. Studying the effect of contamination on hydraulic systems and developing new maintenance strategies in order to prevent contamination related problems in order to reduce the operational costs on hydraulic equipment.

Sales: 1. Developing sales strategy and studying the market regarding lubrication products. Schaeffer oil lubricants www.schaefferoil.com 2. Performing demonstrations using Timken OK bearing machine and gearbox demo in order to convince customers with our product and compare it to other competitor products in the market. 3. Following up customer’s satisfaction after using Schaeffer oil products.
