Financial Scholarship for 2017 AHRMM Conference

MCAHRMM is pleased to offer 2 financial scholarships to qualifying members for attending AHRMM’s 2017 National Conference which is in Washington DC from July 24, 2017 to July 26, 2017.

Requirements: 1. Any active MCAHRMM member* who can establish financial need. 2. Priority will be given to applicants who are first-time attendees OR to applicants who have been MCAHRMM members for six to twelve months. 3. All applicants must provide a letter from their immediate supervisor that establishes financial need and have written approval to attend the fall conference. 4. Applicants awarded scholarships may not re-apply for any MCAHRMM scholarship the following year 5. Applications must be received by April 8th, 2016 (no exceptions). 6. All scholarships will be awarded at the sole discretion of MCAHRMM Board of Directors. Incomplete applications will not be accepted. 7. Recipients will receive reimbursement up to $1,000 that are not covered by any other scholarship source for the following expenses: a. Hotel stay of 3 nights room & tax for a standard room (The recipient is responsible for incidental charges.) b. Airfare to and from the conference city c. Conference registration early bird fee deadline May 15th. 8. Proof of attendance and receipts for expenses will need to be provided for scholarship reimbursement and submitted to the board treasurer within 45 days after the conference. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in forfeiture of the scholarship. 9. Recipients will be required to share their AHRMM experiences in one or more of the following ways: 1) join board members in a panel presentation during the fall conference sharing information gained from the AHRMM conference. 2) Write an article for the newsletter, which will also be featured on our social media and webpages.

All applications must be received by MCAHRMM by April 8, 2017 (no exceptions). All applicants will be notified by April 15, 2017 and announced at the Spring MCAHRMM Conference June 7-9 at Izaty’s.
