1. No Math Navigator Teacher Editions or Student Editions were delivered to my building? Where can I get them?

 Per the Curriculum office, please contact the Service Center ([email protected]) if you are missing teacher or student instructional materials for summer school.

2. Where do I download and print the Pre Test and Post Test for my Math Navigator Modules?

3. I cannot access Math Navigator resources on ARO. What do I need to do?

 Teachers will not have access to ARO until the BILs or their designee enter their names into ARO using the access they were given at the June 13-14 training. Once your name, class and students have been uploaded you will receive an email with a username and password. Please be aware that ARO access is not needed to teach the Math Navigator module.

4. How do I utilize ARO reports?

Once you have received a confirmation email from ARO with your username and password, you can sign into ARO. Specific directions for associating students to tests, entering student test data and running reports are found in the “Math Navigator Getting Started for Teachers NYC Summer School.”

5. No Grade 8 Science Quest Teacher Editions or Student Workbooks were delivered to my building! Where can I get them?

6. I cannot access the online supports listed in the Astronomy and Space TE. Can I get access to these online resources?

 The Grade 8 Science Quest teaching and assessment materials are all located on OLE (Online Learning Exchange.) The Astronomy and Space TE was purchased as a resource for teachers to use as they teach the Science Quest on OLE. The online access only comes when a school or district purchases the text for school year long instruction. Dr. Jay (the Quest trainer) provided access to many labs

that provide additional assessment opportunities as students engage in hands on science activities.

7. I am teaching CoreReady for Literacy and I cannot access the PDToolKit. What should I do?

The registration for the platform is the same, regardless of CoreReady grade level or title used.

 Once on the PDToolkit home page, the select RESOURCES from the top navigation, then check the filters on the left navigation (grade level band, lesson and homework assignments, hot topics, etc.) to find appropriate pdfs, videos, etc. for download.

 When working in left navigation, scroll down to “Four Doors to Core Ready” and select your book title, then scroll down and select your Grade Band. Then scroll back up to select your specific “Grab-and-Go Core-Ready Lessons and Homework Assignments.” Your resources will show in the pane on the right for downloading.
