Carowinds Field Trip Information

Date of Trip: Saturday, October 20th, 2012 Time: 10am-4pm Money Due: None; tickets will be purchased at the gate

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We have been very busy studying forces and motion this unit and want to celebrate/make our learning come to life by observing what we learned in action at Carowinds.

This is a NON-required trip, thus funding is not available and each student will be responsible for paying for his/her admission. Students may use Season Passes if they have one. We will be purchasing our tickets at the gate when we arrive. Students may purchase them online prior to arriving if they want.

Since this is a non-required trip, students are also responsible for transportation to and from Carowinds. We also need parent chaperones!!! Please let me know asap if you would like to come and be part of this awesome experience!

This trip is primarily for 7th grade, but 8th graders may also attend as a way to revisit some of the topics they learned last year. In the event that we have bad weather, the trip will be rescheduled for sometime in the spring.

Please let me know if you have any questions!!!

Best,

Mindy Mahar
