When ordering online please include our classroom code: MH7PZ. September book orders are due by September 22.

 Field Trip: We are so excited for our Preschool Fall field trip!! Please remember that we are meeting at Schwallier’s Country Basket on Thursday, September 14 (T,TH students) and Friday, September 15 (MWF Students). AM groups will meet at 9AM and PM group will meet at 12:30 PM. The address to Schwallier’s is 1185 9 Mile Rd. NW, Sparta, MI 49345

 Thank you!! We would like to send a big “thank you” to anyone who sent in supplies from our wish pond!! All of the supplies are going to come in handy and we are so grateful for your supply donations!!

 School Pictures: Our school pictures are scheduled for Monday, September 25 for our MWF students and Tuesday, September 26 for our T, TH students. Students can come to school ready for pictures as they will be taken during our normal class times. An envelope with options for purchasing pictures will be sent home.

 Firefighter Visits: As we study in our new learning unit all about community helpers, we will be having some firefighter visitors coming into our classroom and talking about fire prevention. The students will also get a chance to see a firetruck. The T,TH class will have their firefighter visit on Thursday, October 12 and the MWF classes will have their firefighter visit on Monday, October 16.

 Library Visitors: We are very lucky to have a few visitor that work for the KDL libraries visit our classes each week to read stories and sing songs with our Preschool students. These visits began over the past few weeks and will continue throughout the school year.

 Drop off and Pick up Procedures: A few parents have asked about procedures for drop off and pick up. When students are dropped off, please be sure to stop in to the classroom to sign your child in on the sign in sheet with time of drop off. Students should be picked up at the preschool door at the end of class time. As we see the adult that is picking up at the door, we will walk each student out to the door one at a time. This allows us to make sure that each student has all of their belongings before they leave and it allows us to be sure that each student is safely getting to the adult that is there to pick them up. Thank you so much for your cooperation and understanding in this 

 Building Security: We are asking that anyone coming into the building please stop in the office and sign in and get a visitor badge. This would include classroom parties or anytime that you would be spending time in the classroom. Thank you for your cooperation and help in keeping our building safe!!

 Snacks and Allergies: If your child has any allergy concerns, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can be sure that he or she is on the allergy list.

 Snack Fee: Please be sure to stop in the office if you have not already paid your Preschool snack fee for the year.

 Volunteers: Thank you to all who volunteered to help us in our classroom and for parties this year! All volunteers are required to have a volunteer form on file. This year these will be available online on the school website. If you plan to volunteer this year and have not filled one out, please go online and fill that out.

 Extra Clothes: Please be sure to bring in an extra set of clothes for your child if you have not done so already. We will keep them here at school through the year just in case and then return them at the end of the school year.

 Half Day: There will be a half day of school on Friday, October 6. MWF AM students will meet during normal class time. PM students will not meet.
