Sub: - Quotation for Purchase of Fire-Extinguishers for Regional Office Ajmer.

Sir, CBSE intends to purchase Fire-Extinguishers for its Regional Office at Ajmer (Rajasthan). Agencies which are authorised dealers/ manufacturer having minimum 5 years experience may apply on the prescribed format latest by 06.01.2011 upto 2.00 p.m. alongwith an EMD of Rs. 2000/- in the form of DD/BD payable in f/o the Secretary CBSE. Experience documents duly attested must also be attached. The type & quantity of fire-extinguishers is given as under:- SL. ITEM DESCRIPTION QTY RATE No. (NOS.) (EACH) (RS.) 1. Providing & Fixing ISI Marked fire extinguisher dry 14 chemical powder(Mono-ammonium Phosphate) ABC type 5 kg capacity duly charged with wall brackets, hose etc complete as per IS: 13849. 2. P&F ISI Marked portable chemical Fire Extinguisher water 10 (Gas Cartridge) type capacity 9 ltr. with gun-metal cap, nozzle & complete in all respect i/c initial fill, wall suspension bracket conforming to 15.940. 3. P&F ISI marked portable Fire Extinguisher 05 Carbondioxide(CO2) type flat base i/c valve, discharge horn of not less than 10.0mm dia 1.0 mtr. long & complete in all respect with wall suspension bracket etc. complete.

The quotation shall be opened on the same day at 3.00 p.m. Incomplete & conditional quotations shall be summarily rejected. The Secretary CBSE reserves the right to reject any or all the quotations without assigning any reason thereof. Yours faithfully

Terms & Conditions

1. The prices must be written in figures & words. 2. There should be no cutting/ overwriting. 3. The rates should be FOR destination, Ajmer & inclusive of all taxes i/c sales tax, octroi etc. 4. The payment shall be released within 10 days after installation at site as per requirement and after submission of Test Certificate/ Guarantee Cards of Fire Extinguisher. 5. The approved brands shall be Life guard/ Litex/ Firego/ Zenith/ Minimax/ Firequip. 6. The consignment shall be checked at works by the CBSE Engineer before dispatch. 7. The work shall be executed as per specifications mentioned in the schedule of works.
