HRS CHAPTER GRANT APPLICATION

House Rabbit Society's Chapter Grant program seeks to assist HRS chapters in their mission of rabbit rescue or education and outreach. HRS Chapter Grants can be used to fund specific veterinary needs or projects with clear goals and objectives, including capital projects. If the project or veterinary care has already started, this application must be submitted within a month of the start of expenses. The maximum limit is $1,500 per grant. Chapters are limited to one grant per calendar year. HOW TO APPLY Grant requests will be considered on a rolling basis. Applicants will hear from the grant committee within 2 weeks of receipt. As funding decisions are made, applicants will be notified via email, and a check will be sent shortly afterward. To apply, please fill out the attached application and attach supporting documentation, and email a copy to [email protected]. In order to qualify for a chapter grant, chapters also need to post a public fundraising request with a link to an online giving system (e.g., youcaring.com, Causes, NetworkforGood, PayPal, etc.) on your website and Facebook page to show that you are actively seeking public funds.
