EBI TRAINING UPDATE 12/15/14

The Resource Center approved $23,245 to fund FFT and MST therapist training in FY 14/15.

As of December 15, 2014, a little less than half of the funds have been spent. A total of $11,325 in training fee supplements have been requested and approved, leaving a balance of $12,100:

 The majority of therapists (88%) were hired as a result of therapist turnover. Three therapists (1 FFT and 2 MST) were hired to expand program capacity.

 All requests were approved, with the exception of 5 requests for MST-PSB training which is currently not included among the trainings eligible for funding.

 Provider Responsibilities in the announcement of Coordinated Funding was amended in October to include:

“To be considered eligible for the supplemental funding from the Resource Center, providers must meet the expectations of the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime & Delinquency with respect to statewide data collection procedures. For FFT and MST, this specifically includes the use of INSPIRE to collect and report provider-level data and compliance with quarterly reporting procedures. Providers are also expected to participate in learning communities coordinated by the EPISCenter, including provider networking meetings and conference calls.”
