ITINERARY

Day 1: Home - Bali, Indonesia Depart from the US for your international flight to Bali.

Day 2: Bali (Sanur) Swiss-Belresort Watu Jimbar or Similar Upon arrival in Bali, transfer to the hotel and check in. The remainder of the day will be at your own leisure to enjoy. (Meal: N/A)

Day 3: Bali (Sanur) Four Points by Sheraton or Similar Today, the entire day will be at your own leisure to enjoy or opt of an optional tour. (Meal: Breakfast)

(Optional Tour) Half Day Uluwatu Sunset Tour with Dinner Price:USD $ 80.00 Per Person Today, the entire day will be at your own leisure to enjoy. In the late afternoon, sunset outing to the southwestern tip of Bali for a visit of the Uluwatu Temple, which is perched precipitous on a top sheer cliff dropping straight into the pounding surf, 250 feet above the sea. This is one of the temples in Bali, built in the 11th century. Watch the spectacular sunset overlooking the Indian Ocean and enjoy the mystic atmosphere. Witnessing the Kecak Dance performance, well-known as a "monkey dance" will light up your night before we drive to Jimbaran Beach for Grilled Seafood dinner.

Day 4: Bali (Ubud) Ubud Wana Resort or Similar This morning, you will have the opportunity to see the Barong and Kris Dance show that describes the eternal struggle between good (Barong) and evil (Rangda) and ends with a scene where the kris dancers fall into a trance and kill Rangda. We then proceed to Celuk, the center of exquisite silver works and Mas for its fine woodcarvings. Enter Ubud, the cultural heart of Bali with many fine art galleries, and a home to a score of local and foreign artists. One of them is Agung Rai Museum of Art which has an extensive collection of paintings by Balinese, Indonesian and foreign artists in classic Balinese and contemporary styles. Afterwards, test your bargaining skill at Ubud art market prior to a visit to Puri Saren Agung whose royal family ruled Ubud from the late 1800’s until 1917. (Meal: Breakfast)

Day 5: Bali (Candidasa) Bali Palms Resort or Similar TOUR CODE: IDO0324P We head east to visit Kerta Gosa, or Hall of Justice, built in 18th century in Klungkung. It is beautifully laid out within a moat and provides an exquisite example of the Klungkung style of painting and architecture which can be seen in their ceiling murals. Continue on to Kusamba, a fishermen village that also engages in the salt making where you will also see colorful outrigger lined up along the black sand shores. The coastal road with full view to Nusa Penida will lead us to Goa Lawah (Bat Cave). This cave, whose walls vibrate with thousands of bats, is considered holy, and a temple and surrounding shrines protect the entrance. Our last stop will be Tenganan, an original Balinese village, a stronghold of ancient traditions. You can see the local women weave the famous “flaming” cloth, kamben geringsing, which supposedly has the power of immunize the wearer against evil. (Meal: Breakfast)

Day 6: Bali (Lovina) Bali Taman Resort or Similar After breakfast, we visit Taman Tirta Gangga (Water Palace) whose swimming pools and ornamental ponds serve as a fascinating reminder of the Balinese rajah’s old days. We then go northwest and stop in Putung to see panoramic view over the eastern bay. Continue through spectacular views of terraced rice fields to Besakih temple, located on the slope of Mount Agung, Bali highest volcano. It is called the Mother Temple of Bali as it houses ancestral shrines for all Hindu Balinese and a complex of nearly 24 temples. Our next stop is Kintamani that presents breathtaking views over the caldera lake, Danau Batur. Descending towards the north coast we make brief stop at the temple of Sangsit and a look around the former capital Singaraja. (Meal: Breakfast)

Day 7: Bali (Sanur) Swiss-Belresort Watu Jimbar or Similar Today, depart from Lovina. Enroute stop at the hot springs of Banjar, the Buddhist Monastery nearby and return to the South via the stunning Pupuan Road. We take you back to your hotel in South Bali. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and the remainder of the day will be yours to enjoy. (Meal: Breakfast)

Day 8: Bali (Sanur) Swiss-Belresort Watu Jimbar or Similar Today, the entire day will be at your own leisure to enjoy or opt of an optional tour.
