Council meeting was opened by the WGK at 1900 and started with the Lord’s Prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance.

OLD BUSINESS

Officer Induction Ceremony: Br Braden proposed the Officer Induction Ceremony be held at the 1800 Vogelweh Mass, 25 October 03. Father Hamel is planning on attending. (Closed)

1st Degree Induction Exemplification: 1st Degree Exemplification took place on the 14th of October 03, 1900 hours. Two individuals were inducted into the Order, William Sances and Wayne Goulet. Degree Team was as follows: (Closed)

NEW BUSINESS

Long Range Calendar: Br. Braden would like to set up a long-range calendar. Quarterly Knights Mass, Chirstkindlemarkt trip, Arch Bishops visit, etc. (Open)

Social Event: The Council mentioned a social gathering with the KMC Priests and spouses after the Officer Induction Ceremony. The Pepper Mill was suggested and agreed upon. Event was set up for the 25th of October 03. (Closed)

Pilgrimage to Poland – Br. Braden proposed a pilgrimage to Krakow, Poland. The Council will be asking the Parish Council to set aside money to help defray some of the transportation costs. Possible timeframe will be during Spring Break (1st full week of April) for 2-3 days. Council would like to be the official sponsor solicit the assistance of Ms. Jeanie Vin (travel agent) to help set up a tour of Pope John Paul II’s seminary, Saint Colby’s beatification site, and possibly Auschwitz. The Council is looking for a POC/Chair. (Open)

GOOD OF THE ORDER: Prayers and intentions were offered for family and friends who were experiencing difficulties or health related issues.
