Cherokee Town and Country Club Atlanta, Georgia Director of Swim and Fitness Operations (January 99 – July 03)

 Oversee management of personnel associated with the fitness center, locker rooms and pool departments at the Town Club.  Oversee management of personnel associated with the fitness center, and pool departments at the Country Club.  Write and implement an Operational Budget (1 Million+) and Capital Budget (100–200 K) for the Town Club and Country Club.  Oversee the complete operation and maintenance of the Town Club and Country Club fitness centers, pool departments and Town Club locker rooms.  Oversee digital surveillance system in the fitness areas and other parts of the Town Club  Responsible for the coordination and promotion of all programs associated with the fitness center and pool departments at the Town Club and Country Club.  Responsible for the opening and completion of the men’s locker room renovation (750K) at the Town Club.  Strongly involved in the design and building, of a new (2 million) state of the art aquatic facility at the Country Club. Also responsible for the opening and operation of this new facility. Blomeyer Health and Fitness Center at Emory Atlanta, Georgia Assistant Manager (July 97 – January 99)  Developed start up policies and procedures for locker rooms and fitness facility.  Developed and implemented all pre screening evaluation procedures for members.  Developed, implemented and supervised all aspects of the personal training program.  Responsible for operational issues including cleanliness and maintenance of the facility.

The Home Depot Corporate Office Atlanta, Georgia Managed the wellness center at the corporate and divisional offices (October 93 – July 97)  Responsible for developing and implementing health promotion programs to the corporate and divisional offices (California, Chicago, Florida, New Jersey and Canada) (1995).  Negotiated and supervised a contract with Innotrac, Inc. to distribute health promotion materials to the Home Depot stores in the United States and Canada (1995).  Established and implemented policies and guidelines for all divisional office wellness centers (1995).  Chairman of the two employee wellness advisory committees (1995-97).  Successfully planned and organized a corporate health fair with over 500 associates participating (1996).  Organized the corporate challenge run with over 1250 associates participating (1996).  Promoted and organized the Great American Smoke out with over 100 participants.  Organized a weight loss challenge at the corporate with over 250 participants (1997).  Promoted and supervised all the blood drives for the corporate offices. Initiated the National Blood Drive program for all our stores and divisional offices in the United States and Canada (1997).
