She has raised over one million dollars for medical research. 9. I am go to the game next week to watch Doug play in New York.

On the board, he wrote the following list for his students.

Opera in Thorold (a small town in Canada)

1. Champagne and fish eggs in a can are the first requirements for opera. 2. The name of the opera is difficult to pronounce and you can't spell easily, either. 3. The singer knows what she can do and what she can't do. 4. Slowly, haltingly, and with tears pouring down her face, she sang the first song. 5. Next summer I intend to go to the Montreal Opera Festival, the Buffalo Festival, and I plan to attend the Moncton Opera Festival also. 6. Make sure that the people you take are smart, nice, and that they will dress well. 7. My friends told me to stay home and that I should watch the television.

8. I had a hard time deciding whether to attend the opera in a tuxedo or jeans, or attending with my school uniform.
