Dear Teachers,

This is your chance to help your students win “great” prizes and “wonderful” prizes for you!

ALLEN BEVERAGES and WLOX are co-sponsoring “COLOR THE COAST RED, WHITE & BLUE” to help educate and promote American pride along the Gulf Coast.

Over 75 prizes will be awarded to students & teachers in South Mississippi! The teacher of each winner will receive a gas card. In addition, the teacher of the overall winner will receive a Biloxi Schooner trip for you and 20 guests!

“COLOR THE COAST RED, WHITE & BLUE” is an educational art contest for students K-8th grade. Students may choose to color one of the 4 line drawings enclosed or draw and color/paint “RED, WHITE & BLUE” themed pictures here in South Mississippi.

Be sure to complete the information page (student/grade/school/teacher) and attach to the back of the coloring sheet or drawing. Winners will be chosen from each grade level based on creativity, precociousness and presentation. Get your entries in early and watch “Good Morning Mississippi” to see if Tommy Richards showcases your student’s art!

Entries must be received by November 1, 2013 at the WLOX studio.

Judging will take place on November 5, 2013, and teachers will be contacted November 6, 2013.

ALLEN BEVERAGES will host a celebration party at their facilities on Dedeaux Road in Gulfport on November 14th from 5 pm – 6 pm to recognize the winners and give away prizes.
