TEACHING EXPERIENCE (INTERNATIONAL)

 Fulbright Scholar at the University of Algiers, Algeria, September-December 2011. I taught courses in American studies, including “Special skills” and “Literary genres.”  Visiting Professor at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales, Paris (France), February-March 2010. I gave a series of lectures on North African literature and culture to doctoral students and professors.  Selected Faculty and Academic Director, AHA Program in Fez, Morocco, June-July 2009. Advanced course on American representations of North Africa.  Visiting Professor of Francophone Studies at l’Université Lumière (Lyon II), France, September-October 2008. Intensive graduate seminar on Francophone North African literature. 10 graduate students.  Selected faculty, NCSA Angers Program (Université Catholique de l’Ouest, France), Fall 2007. Upper division French literature course, taught in both French and English on the French writers of the Loire Valley (19 students).
