Kwongan Workshop 2015 On the ecology of WA’s arid zone 21 July 2015

Organisers: School of Plant Biology, UWA. Audience: Environmental officers working with mining companies, consultants, fellow scientists, growers, managers of the land, anybody with a keen interest in the ecology of WA’s arid zone. Aims: The arid zone of Western Australia is an area of both fascinating biodiversity and great economic importance. The Workshop, organised by the not-for-profit Kwongan Foundation, aims to enhance awareness of Western Australia’s arid zone biodiversity by providing a forum to communicate research outcomes, policy and environmental management practices related to this region. The workshop provides an excellent networking opportunity by bringing together landholders, regulators, researchers, consultants, growers and anyone with an interest in the science and management of Western Australia’s arid zone environments. In doing so, UWA seeks to facilitate transfer of wisdom through communication and collaboration, thereby creating better outcomes for arid zone environments. Location: The University Club, UWA.
