Named AMERICA’S BEST COMMUNITY COLLEGE by Washington Monthly Office of HUMAN RESOURCES 1560 Metropolitan Parkway, Atlanta, Georgia, 30310 POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT POSITION: Outreach Specialist (Adult Education) Job Duties: Arrives as scheduled daily; Recruitment, partnership development; Answer calls, assist with testing and intake; Assist with external referrals; Facilitate connections to employment opportunity; Oversee the workplace readiness component; Pull GALIS retention reports; Monitor student attendance; Provide ongoing communication with students missing class time; Assist transition coordinator with all retention strategies.

MINIMUM Demonstrate skills in written, verbal and interpersonal relationships when working QUALIFICATIONS: with various stakeholders on challenging issues; Demonstrate ability to manage time effectively and efficiently, show capable of having organizational and planning skills, as well as having aptitude for accuracy and attention to detail; Team player with ability to work in a highly cross-functional and virtual environment; Ability to plan, set and achieve goals; Superior level of personal character and integrity; Proficiency in the use of programs in the Microsoft Office Suite; High school diploma or equivalent *and* Three (3) year of work related experience. Note: Experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis. Unofficial Transcript(s) required within 60 days of employment. PREFERRED Associates degree from accredited college or university in business administration or QUALIFICATIONS: management, microcomputer applications, administrative assistant or related disciplines. *and* Three (3) years of work related experience. Proficiency in the use of programs in the Microsoft Office Suite, and GALIS. WORK SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday 19 Hours Per Week – Flexible from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. until June 21, 2018.
