Attendees: Dr. Hess, David Bankhead, Tim Blake, Travis McMillen

Items Discussed:

 Went over the rough draft of the design review powerpoint

o We have too much information on the background

. Need more about what we’re doing and how we’re going to do it.

. ~20% Max of background

. ~70% design project and what we’re going to do

. ~10% budget

o Need to include information about what we’ve done

. Testing

. Setup

. Developing the project

. Plans

. What are the issues

. How and Why we’re doing what we’re doing

. How we will statistically analyze process and test our hypotheses

 The rejuvenated batteries have signs of bulging

o We need to be extra careful when rejuvenating

o Need to wear PPE

o Need a protective thing to put them in, like plexiglass

 Tentative time for Design Review

o 2:00 PM Wed. 11/16/11

Action Items:  Ask Greg for a thermo couple for the DMM

 Bridget has the keys to lab drawers if we need them

 Find Vihsu and try to found out where the DAQ is and how to work Labview

 Tim – talk to ME friends about Labview and see if they have spares

 Create / Find a plexiglass box or something to put the batteries in when they’re charging
