<p> Meeting Minutes with Dr. Hess</p><p>11/8/2011</p><p>Attendees: Dr. Hess, David Bankhead, Tim Blake, Travis McMillen</p><p>Items Discussed: </p><p> Went over the rough draft of the design review powerpoint</p><p> o We have too much information on the background</p><p>. Need more about what we’re doing and how we’re going to do it.</p><p>. ~20% Max of background</p><p>. ~70% design project and what we’re going to do</p><p>. ~10% budget</p><p> o Need to include information about what we’ve done</p><p>. Testing </p><p>. Setup</p><p>. Developing the project</p><p>. Plans</p><p>. What are the issues</p><p>. How and Why we’re doing what we’re doing</p><p>. How we will statistically analyze process and test our hypotheses</p><p> The rejuvenated batteries have signs of bulging</p><p> o We need to be extra careful when rejuvenating</p><p> o Need to wear PPE </p><p> o Need a protective thing to put them in, like plexiglass</p><p> Tentative time for Design Review </p><p> o 2:00 PM Wed. 11/16/11</p><p>Action Items:  Ask Greg for a thermo couple for the DMM</p><p> Bridget has the keys to lab drawers if we need them</p><p> Find Vihsu and try to found out where the DAQ is and how to work Labview</p><p> Tim – talk to ME friends about Labview and see if they have spares</p><p> Create / Find a plexiglass box or something to put the batteries in when they’re charging</p><p>Next Meeting with Dr. Hess: Tuesday 11/15/11 @ 5:00 pm in BEL 328 </p>
