Single copies of the latest editions of the "Rules Applying to Registration and Dog Shows" and "Obedience Regulations" may be obtained WITHOUT CHARGE from any Secretary at any show where they are superintending or from THE AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB, 51 MADISON AVENUE, NEW YORK, TWO DAYS –SAME LOCATION ! Events #2008272301, #2008272303 & 2008272302, #2008272304 AGREEMENT I (we) acknowledge that the "Rules Applying to Dog Shows" and the "Rules Applying to Registration and Discipline" and, if this entry is for an obedience trial the "Obedience Regulations," have been made Premium List available to me (us), and that I am familiar with their contents I (we) waive any and all claims, causes of These shows will be held under American Kennel Club Rules and Regulations action. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of the show or obedience trial and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and to win prize money, ribbons, or trophies, I(we) agree to hold this club, its members, directors, governors, officers, agents, Secretary’s or show secretary and the owner or lesser of the premises and any employees of the aforementioned parties, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or upon the show or obedience trial premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I(we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I(we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss of this dog by disappearance, theft, death or otherwise, and from any claim for damage or injury to the dog, whether such loss, disappearance, theft, damage, or injury, be caused or alleged to be caused by the negligence of the club or any or the parties aforementioned, or by the negligence of any other person, or any other cause or causes. I(we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify and save the aforementioned parties harmless from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon any of the aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death at any time resulting there from, sustained by any person or persons, including myself (ourselves), or on account of damage to property, arising out of or in consequence of my (our) participation in this show or obedience trial, howsoever such injuries, death or damage to property may be caused, and whether or not the same may have been caused or may be alleged to have been caused by negligence of the aforementioned parties or any of their employees or agents, or any other persons. INSTRUCTIONS 1. (Variety) if you are entering a dog of a breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the particular variety you are entering, i.e., Cocker Spaniel (solid color black, ASCOB, parti-color), Beagles (not exceeding 13 in, over 13 in but not exceeding 15 in), Dachshunds (longhaired, smooth, wirehaired), Collies (rough, smooth), Bull Terriers (colored, GREATER SPOKANE SHETLAND SHEEPDOG white), Manchester Terriers (standard, toy), Chihuahuas (smooth coat, long coat), English Toy spaniels (Kin Charles and Ruby, Blenheim and Prince Charles), Poodles (toy, miniature, CLUB, INC. standard). American Kennel Club Licensed 2. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition: Dogs that are Champions of Record and dogs which, according to their owners' records, have ANNUAL completed the requirements for a championship, but whose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limited to a period of 90 days SPECIALTY SHOWS,OBEDIENCE TRIALS & RALLY from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship. 3. (Dog Show Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the dog show class in which you are entering your dog is divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the Saturday, April 5, 2008 particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e., age division, color division, weight division. Sunday, April 6, 2008 4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for a show closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the Spokane Dog Training Facility name of its new owner in any show for which entries closed after the date of acquirement, 2620 N. Locust Dr., Spokane, Washington regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his name. Additional Rules 3. 1. Owners and owners' agents are responsible for any errors on entry forms, for entering the same dog twice, or for entering a dog in a class for which it is not eligible. Rally Prizes Sweepstakes April 5th & April 6th Saturday: The Sweepstakes will be held in conjunction with the specialties and are open to all Sheltie puppies who, on the day of the show, will be six months old and under eighteen months of age. The First in each class: Got Shelties Decal. sweepstakes is to be designated on the regular entry form by writing ‘sweepstakes’ in the blank marked Sunday: ‘additional classes’. The fee for entering the sweepstakes is $15.00 and the puppy must also be First in each Class: a Decal of a Sheltie entered and exhibited in one of the regular classes at the regular rate.
