FIDELITY HOUSE FAMILY AWARDS BANQUET – Last week, over 250 people attended Fidelity House’s Family Awards Banquet honoring outstanding achievements of youth.. Trophies were presented to OUTSTANDING PARTICIPANTS in the following areas-ARTS & CRAFTS Riley Prokop & MacKenzie Stueve WHIFFLE BALL Will Deevy, Ricky Gilpatrick, Sean Greeley, Matt Mancini, Matt Laurendeau and Lou Doherty INDOOR SOCCER Ben Fach, Kelsey Wengler, Tim McCadden, Adrian Murato and Matt Wever BASKETBALL Louisa Ellis, Will Dynan, Sal Frelick, Justin DeMarco, Molly Rae and Edwin Woods CROSS COUNTRY Jimmy Harris & Ginny Mottla FLOOR HOCKEY Katie Ives, Dante Green, Nico Frelick, Matt Anderson, Shannon Griffin and Jimbo Doherty KICKBALL Jake Walsh, Mark Tanner and Tim Matthews FLAG TAG FOOTBALL Jeanine Buonopane, Jim O’Connor, Jon Henry Byrne, Dan Fitzgerald and Pauric Hourican GYMNASTICS Marybeth Ciarlone, Francesca Pinard, Eric Roels, Julia Barrone and Christina Valeri. The SCHOOL AGE CHILD CARE PROGRAM presented OUTSTANDING MEMBERS trophies to Natalia Brillati, Cassandra Jorges, Victoriya Blyth, Conor Tippett, Matt Laurendeau and Jesse Schulz. Championship Intramural team trophies were given to the FALL BOYS INTRAMURAL BASKETBALL CHAMPIONS Shaul Armony, Dylan Boyle, Dan Buckley, Michael Cherelli, Patrick Connaughton, Andrew Cunningham, Mitchell Cunningham, Matt Crowley, Brendan Foley, Michael MacDonald, Matt McDermott, Joe Opalinski, Jack Powers, James Reposa, Christian Riera, Harrison Roberson and Joe Stanton. The BOYS INTRAMURAL BASKETBALL LEAGUE- Team Player Awards went to Eddie Woods, Ben Adams-Keane, The GIRLS SPRING INTRAMURAL BASKETBALL CHAMPIONS were Haley Chioccariello, Jenny Corso, Ashley Curtin-MacGregor, Melodie Gomez, Celie Harvey, Katelyn Palmer and Danielle Perkins GIRLS INTRAMURAL BASKETBALL LEAGUES- Team Player Award Elisa Doherty, Kate Haley , Colleen Kane The evening continued with presentations to JUNIOR NBA/WNBA BASKETBALL OUTSTANDING PARTICIPANTS , Margaret Ammondson , Amanda Grace Brian Wall, DeAndre’ Dymski, Jared Glaser, Ryan & Justin McCassie. 8 BALL POOL CHAMPION- Tom Kervick , INTRAMURAL FLOOR HOCKEY CHAMPIONS Nick Cammarano, Kevin Carney, Matt Lepore, Declan Newman, Jake Palmer, Jack Powers, Conor Reenstierna, James Reposa, Joe Stanton, Eddie Woods and Matt Woods Top Goalie- Jack Powers and Scoring Champ- Brian Ouellette. ELIZABETH CARTA TROJAN SPIRIT AWARD Colleen Tracy and COACHES AWARD- Danielle McCarron. A new banner was unveiled to hang on the championship wall! The New England Championship Trojan team was presented with team sweatshirts and jackets. Recipients included TROJANS Rich Auterio, Pat Connaughton, Nick Gonchar, Hank Harrington, Joe Keefe, Mark Marino, Jack Powers, Joe Stanton, Michael Cherelli, Bobby Crane, Shawn Pierre-Louis, Bobby Wesoloski, Frantz Pinard and Matty Woods. Mngs. Jimmy Harris and Matt Tacito Individual trophies were presented to UNSUNG HERO- Joe Keefe MOST IMPROVED Shawn Pierre-Louis. Coaches of the Fidelity House TRAVEL BASKETBALL teams presented individual trophies to the following: 5TH/6TH GRADE GIRLS COACHES AWARD- Kathryn McGonagle MOST IMPROVED- Alana Zucco 7TH GRADE GIRLS MVP Emma Roberson MVP Aubree Andres 8TH GRADE GIRLS MOST IMPROVED Lauren Reis & COACHES AWARD Erin Klein 6TH GR. BOYS MOST OUTSTANDING PLAYER- Marcus Faison 7TH GR. BOYS COACHES AWARD Wyatt Rojo MOST OUTSTANDING PLAYER Bobby Wesoloski 8TH GR. BOYS COACHES AWARD- Kiernan Connors HUSTLE AWARD- Rylan Spence The evening continued with special VOLUNTEER SERVICE Presentations to the following individuals. Outstanding High School Volunteer service to Adam Nowak. Recognition was given to Outstanding Adult volunteers who have gone above and beyond in their contributions to the youth at Fidelity House. Recipients included Susan Connaughton , Wendy Pinard and Peter Mattera, The evening gained momentum with the handing out of the OUTSTANDING VOLUNTEER CLUB MEMBERS trophies to Lauren Doneski, Shannon Brangwynne, Sarah Demers and Peter Makhlouf. The TIM DONOVAN AWARD -"PERSONALITY OF THE YEAR" was given to Rich Auterio while OUTSTANDING MEMBER TROPHIES were presented to GRADES 1 - 4, Dan Maher, Nikki Doherty, Miguel Canizalez and GRADES 5 - 8 Jeanine Buonopane , Bobby Wesoloski, Shawna Sacca, and Amy Lydon. The MANNING SCHOLARSHIP were given to 8th graders Jackie Hubbard & Nick Gonchar. The Final award of the evening was given out to a standing ovation. The MONSIGNOR JOHN J. LINNEHAN SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD was presented to Pat Connaughton.

‘ Tomorrow’s Stars Basketball Clinic” will be offering a Basketball Clinic for boys and girls ages 7-15 over June 25 thru 29 at Fidelity House. The clinic will meet from 9 am-3:30 pm. Joel Burke, current Head Coach at Arlington Catholic and former Salem State All American Jim Edgehill will direct the clinic G I R L S SUMMER INTRAMURAL 6 th — 9 th grade HOOP LEAGUE Sponsored by the Arlington Police. Games played 1 night a week- Tuesdays. Sign up at Fidelity House. Games played on outdoor courts behind Arlington High School. BO YS SUMMER 8910 HOOP LEAGUE- for those entering 8th, 9th, 10th grades. Intramural games played 1 evening a week. Games follow H.S. game rules and teams are decided by draft. Begins the week of June 25. GYMNASTICS- Summer session for preschool and up. Learn gymnastics in a fun relaxed atmosphere with plenty of individual attention. 6 week session begins Tuesday, June 19.

PRE Kindergarten & PRESCHOOL graduations were crowd pleasers with the Prekindergarteners having an Under the Sea theme and the Preschoolers celebrated with a “We are the Children, We are the World” theme. The cuteness factor was a 10!!!! THANKS to all the parents who contributed to the buffet of treats after the events.

GYMNASTS SHINE OVER THE WEEKEND!- The Fidelity House school year gymnastic program concluded with 3 recitals over the weekend. Over 50 preschool, kindergarten & 1st graders demonstrated their skills on the floor, balance beam, vaulting horse and the uneven parallel bars while over 35 older gymnasts dazzled the crowd with their talent and creativity on the gymnastic apparatus. Kindergarten and first grade gymnasts included: Victoriya Blyth, Veronica Burke, Kate Craig, Erin Diskin, Rose Fagan, Breah Healey, Owen Kuklinski, Megan Laurendeau, Karla Marambio, Timmy McCadden, Hayley McGovern, Taylor McGovern, Erin O’Brien, Casey Powers, Megan Roels, Josh Scoggins, Grant Wadman, Kelsey Wengler, Rose Wesoloski, Samantha Widdison, Lainey Woods Those in Sunday's recital included: Maya Alperin, Sarah Mattera & Nicole Haroutunian, Taryn Foley & Meghan Kreider, Michaela Noviello, Grace Doherty, Bridget Hogan &Julia Mattera, Carmel Atzili, Nicky Sordillo, Armin Thomas, Ian McCabe, Francesca Pinard, Hallie McCadden, Eric Roels, Lauren Ramdin & Sarah Reis, Brianna Gervais, Marybeth Ciarlone, Edwin Woods, McKayla Thielbar, Jessica Baccari, Tess Regan, Kaitlyn McCarthy & Sonia Zacher, Christina Valeri, Julia Barrone , Sam Justice & Jessica Morello.

SUMMERTIME BOOK SWAP To add more adventure to your Summer vacation, bedtime storytelling & long, hot afternoons, Fidelity House will be sponsoring a Book Swap for 5 -13 year olds on Thursday, July 5 from 2 - 5:00 p.m. The swap is FREE! - All kids are asked to do is trade book they've already read for books they'd like to read this Summer! Donations of books for 5 - 13 year olds are welcome & needed! memorable notes- JUST a reminder- FIDELITY HOUSE offers programs ALL SUMMER LONG!! Try out a program or two or three….the Fidelity House staff would like to wish everyone some summer adventures, cool breezes and plenty of sunshine (with sunscreen)!
