PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

(1) Presently working in British Gas Exploration & Production India Ltd (BGEPILT) as a Production operator and well head operation since Aug -2006. BGEPIL is an ISO 14001 certified company having joint venture with ONGC and Reliance Industries Ltd. BGEPIL operates Panna, Mukta and Tapti field which produces about 40000 BBLS of crude oil and 630 MMSCFD of natural gas. (2) Worked for Samfire Services as a Production Helper from Apr 2001 to Oct 2002

EDUCATINAL QUALIFICATION

 Diploma in Mechanical Engg: from KGCE Govt of Kerala.  Pre-degree : University of Calicut.  SSLC : Kerala education board.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Gas Compression, Gas Dehydration, Glycole Regeneration, Oil processing, water separation

 Involved Start up and shutdown activities of Plant.  Experience in Oil & Gas purification.  Gas Dehydration System, sweetening and Glycol Regeneration System.  Water treatment.  Glycol reboiler startup, glycol concentration checks etc.  Coalescer filter element replacement job.  L.P & H.P Flare scrubbers, Glycol overhead accumulator, Flare system, Sales gas.  Experience in Lube Oil System, Seal Oil System.  Three phase Horizontal & Vertical Separator, Booster Pumps,. Hydro cyclones, Skimmers.  Carries out routine checks of the plant operating condition, sampling, checking of running condition of equipment.

 Opening and shutting various valves manually or through Control Room. Operates, monitors, starts and stops pumps and rotating equipment as instructed.  Have experienced with gas dehydration & gas sweetening process.  Perform various process and safety related PM & shutdown jobs under Permit to Work, Task Risk Assessment and Tool Box Talk system.  Assist various construction activities carried out on the platform by different contractors coordinating with them for execution of permit, familiarize them with platform’s safety regulations and encourage them to perform well & safely to contribute to platform’s safety record.  Have experience of rig assistance jobs like initial flow back of well, plan & take process shutdown/start up as per rig requirements and combine some critical jobs with this shutdown thus reducing the downtime of production loss.  Have experience in pre-commissioning and start up of new process platform, checking the mechanical completion, identifying the punch points and attending the same with the help of contractor people  Troubleshoot and handle emergencies on platform by being lead member of Fire Fighting Team, conduct various safety drills and safety meetings.

Well Head Operation  Well head control Panel operation.  Well testing in Separator (2 phases and 3 phases), Changing of orifice, water cut sample collection and analysis.  Flow back of the new well through Choke manifold, Separator, Level Gauge cleaning etc.  Pressure test of X-mas tree valves. Well casing pressure checks  Changing of fixed choke, Maintenance of Adjustable choke. Familiar with Gas Lift Wells.  Testing of PSV [pressure safety valve].  Maintenance of Gate valves and actuators, Maintenance and Calibration of Chemical injection pumps.  Safety Checking of SSSV, SSV, FSD &ESD, Unloading of loaded wells, Equalization of wells  Perform routine maintenance in preparation for next job  offloading supplies from boats and moving them to storage areas  moving supplies and equipment to the work site  using lifting gear and winches to load and stack equipment  Maintaining History and Records for the Equipments.
