Good Old Boat Regatta Starting Sequence

Annapolis Good Old Boat Regatta Starting Sequence Saturday and Sunday October 11-12, 2008

Note that Saturday and Sunday have different schedules.

In all starts, the class flags shown are accompanied by the lowering and raising of a Red Shape and sound signal as described in the information package and at the Skippers Meeting.

We ran out of colors for discernable streamers, so some fleets will fly double streamers (over/under).

Note the change from Saturday to Sunday. One start is removed and Cheoy Lee 40, Dolce Vita will sail in Full Keel I on Sunday. All start times except CAL 25 move up 5 minutes on Sunday.

I’m thinking about hitting some folks for some rating time if their past performances are too consistently good. After all, the words “Performance Rating” are in the rule. BE AWARE that skippers are obligated to keep their boats away from the starting area, and not to interfere with starting boats when it is not within their 5 minute window to start.
