TENTH ANNUAL GIFT AUCTION

The Marine Academy of Technology and Environmental Science (MATES) is happy to announce their 10th annual PTSO Gift Auction. MATES, located at 195 Cedar Bridge Road, Manahawkin, is a public full-time college-prep academy open to Ocean County students in grades 9-12 who are interested in marine and environmental studies.

The auction will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2012 from 6:00-10:00pm at MATES.

Donations are used to raise money to support our students’ needs such as scholarships, educational materials, and funding our students’ work on improving and developing new methods to protect the Barnegat Bay, its wildlife and a variety of community concerns.

A Donation may be any of the following: an item to be auctioned; a gift or theme basket; a gift certificate (such as to a food market, restaurant, salon, etc.); a cash donation which would be applied to the purchase of auction items; or a service. Businesses that provide donations valued at $100 or more will receive free business-card-size advertising in our printed program. The program is distributed to all auction attendees. Additionally, each auctioned item will have an acknowledgment or a business card attached. You may also provide promotional “giveaways” (i.e. pens, magnets, bags, pamphlets, etc.) for distribution at the event.

Advertisements may be purchased for placement in the program. Please see attached sponsorship form.

You may make your donation today, or we will collect your donation no later than March 8, 2012. Please have your donation ready by that date. Make checks payable to MATES PTSO. All donors will receive a receipt for income tax purposes at the time of the donation.
