Minutes of the Keyworth Parish Council Planning Meeting Held in the Feignies Room on Monday

DRAFT MINUTES OF KEYWORTH PARISH COUNCIL PLANNING MEETING IN THE FEIGNIES ROOM ON MONDAY, 18 FEBRUARY 2008 AT 7.30PM

PRESENT: Chairman: Cllr Mrs Abbey Committee: Cllrs Barton, Mrs Chmara, Mrs Price.

ATTENDANCE: Mrs Orr (Secretary)

OTHER COUNCILLORS: Borough/Parish Cllr Mrs Boote and Cllr Mrs Oakley.

MEMBERS OF PUBLIC: None.

08/1736 Apologies

Apologies were received from Cllrs Mrs Howard and Grant. Cllr Mrs Carr did not attend the meeting. 08/1744 Declarations of Interest

None.

08/1745 Minutes

Minutes of meeting on 21 January 2008. APPROVED and signed as a true record.

08/1746 Matters Arising

Minute 08/7410(4) Letter from Notts. County Council, Communities Department – After consultation with members of Planning committee, it was decided that there was nothing they would like to add to the draft guidance. Cllr Mrs Abbey will respond to this effect.

08/1747 Correspondence

The following items were noted &/or dealt with under the appropriate items on the agenda:

a) Correspondence from residents re Blind Lane development. – circulated to Cllr Mrs Abbey. b) Rushcliffe Borough Council’s Members’ Monthly – December issue. Available at office. c) Planning &: Landscape Briefing – February issue – available on web site.

 Cllr Barton mentioned the letter from Rushcliffe Borough Council, which had been circulated to all members of the Planning Committee regarding a meeting to be held to discuss off-street parking in Keyworth.  Cllr Mrs Abbey had called a meeting on Wednesday evening at 7.30pm in the Feignies Room for the Councillors who will attend the Rushcliffe Borough Council meeting, to discuss the ideas for her ten-minute presentation at that meeting.  Cllr Barton mentioned letter he had received, sent out by the Government on CPRE – he would copy and send out to all members. 1 DRAFT

RESOLVED: Do not object b) 104 Mount Pleasant 08/00148/FUL Single storey side and rear extension; canopy roof to front elevation. 2 DRAFT 08/1750 Conservation Area

 The pavement where the heritage plaque will be installed had been marked out. Cllr Mrs Abbey would contact Scott Young at Notts. County Council to arrange a time when he could look at the site.  It was suggested that, once it is installed, an official inauguration be arranged and the Centenary Lounge could be booked for refreshments.

There being no further business, the Chairman closed the meeting at 8.10pm
