Terms & Conditions For Supply of 275 KVA Generator

1. A Bank draft /Bank Guarantee equal to 2% of the tender value should accompany the tender as earnest money drawn in favour of Director IMSciences, Peshawar. The tender shall not be considered without earnest money.

2. The amount deposited as earnest money will be refunded to the successful bidder after satisfactory completion of delivery.

3. Delivery & Installation must be made within 04 weeks time after the receipt of supply order.

4. The vendor is bound to deliver, install and commission the equipment within the stipulated time failing which may result in the forfeiture of earnest money for which no appeal will be entertained.

5. No advance payment would be made.

6. 10% retention money will be deducted from the bill which will be released after satisfactory completion of warranty period.

7. The quantity may be increased on need basis.

8. The vendor must have a regional setup in Peshawar for providing timely after sale services,

9. Quality shall be criteria of selection.

10.The vendor must be registered with Sale Tax & Income Tax Departments.

11.Taxes would be deducted from the vendor as per government rules and rates.

12.The relevant deduction certificate shall be provided to the vendor.

13.The vendor will be bound for the maintenance (Also free supply of spare parts where required) of the equipment for warranty period, failing which 10% retained amount will be used for the purpose.

14.The vendor should provide/furnish guarantee of satisfactory work and after sale service.

15.After the approval of tender, a contract agreement on the stamp paper worth Rs.100/- will have to be signed between the firm and the Institute for providing after sales services and spares to the Institute. 16.A draft copy of the agreement may also be annexed. 17.The tenders should reach the office of the Manager Administration up to 23-04-2010 at 10.00 am during office hours which would be opened on the same day at 10.30 am in the presence of vendors who wish to attend.

18.Incomplete and conditional tenders will not be accepted.

19.The Bid must be submitted on firm’s letter head pad in sealed envelope, duly completed in all respect.

20.All equipment should be in good/excellent condition.

21.The “Gen set” quoted must be strictly in accordance with stipulated specifications as enclosed.

22.Price quoted must remain valid for acceptance for a period of 60 days from the date of tender opening.

23.Payment will be released after successful delivery and testing of equipment / item as per the specifications mentioned in this document.

24.Any dispute arising during course of completion of assignment will be referred to the Director IMSciences and his decision will be final and binding upon the vendor.

25.The Purchase Committee of the Institute reserves right to amend, add or delete any clause of the tender document.

26.Only manufacturers, authorized dealers / registered reseller can participate in the tender.

27.The vendor would also be required to produce a copy of certificate/license of authorized dealership or partnership.

28.The Purchase Committee of the Institute reserves the right to accept/reject wholly or partially any or all tenders without assigning any reason.
