Virginia Anne Dwyer

Virginia’s hometown is Castleton, New York, and she graduated in 1980 from Maple Hill High with a Regents Diploma. She graduated in 1984 from Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, New York with AAS in Legal Secretarial Science and received her paralegal certificate in 1991 from Casco Bay College in Portland, Maine.

Previously Virginia has worked as a paralegal specializing in labor law, asbestos litigation, workers compensation, personal injury, medical malpractice, divorce and estates. Virginia performs paralegal and transcription services for the Muskie School of Public Service, Portland Research Group, National Network of Public Health Institutes and Pamela Knowles Lawrason, Esq. Virginia joined the firm in December, 2012.

Virginia has two children, Meredith and Abram and they reside in North Yarmouth.

Virginia is currently serving on the MSAD 51 Board of Education. She has been a Director from 2006 to the present. Her committee assignments are Athletic Advisory, Negotiations, Finance, PATHS, Everyone Graduates, Nutrition, PTO, Sustainability, Student Representative Selection, Calendar, Policy, Communications and NYMS Task Force.

In her spare time Virginia also works with the Collie Rescue League of New England as the State of Maine Publicity Coordinator and Dock Dogs representative. Virginia has two collies of her own Mabel and Zeke.
