Bremerton Soccer Club Meeting Minutes July 19th, 2012

This session of Bremerton Soccer Club board meeting is called to order at 7:05p at OSSC conference room.

Reports- Tracey motions to approve meeting minutes from July 13th, 2012, Terra seconds, all in favor- approved. Tracey had 9 registrations at the in-person registration at McDonalds tonight. Terra reports there are 65 kids registered compared to last years registration of 95 at this time. Amber contacted the soccer balls and socks distributor and is just waiting on the number needed. Sarah reports that she contacted Safeway, Fred Meyer, and Walmart about having open registration at their stores and they required corporate approval. After trying to contact the appropriate people to do so, she decided to have registration at McDonalds on Kitsap Way instead. Sarah also contacted Kitsap Sun in regards to putting an ad in the paper advertising open registration. The cost for 7 days was $15, and she will call and place ad the next business day. John offered to put an ad on craigslist to advertise open registration. Steve reports that he sent out reservation forms for West Hills and Crown Hill. The processing fee is $30 altogether. No reservations are guaranteed until a payment is turned in, and the club still needs fields for U11,U12, and U13. Tracey and Steve met on Sunday to go over business. Tracey stated that she went on the website to register as a coach and the website stated that she owed money as a coach. She went through and cleared the last 3 years of charges to coaches so they would not come across the same notice when they registered through the website. New Business- Calendar review- July 21st 3p-5p Open registration at McDonalds on Kitsap Way July 27th 5p-7p Open Registration at McDonalds on Kitsap Way August 4th All teams need to be named and submitted to D4 for game scheduling August 11th game scheduling August 15th 7p Coaches meeting followed by an Annual General Meeting Terre will go to the D4 website and work on identifying the teams. Mike won’t be able to do a kick around for kids. Tracey suggests doing one at Crownhill os West Hills. Steve worked on revising the constitution and presented it to the board. Agenda for AGM was discussed. John will create a link on the BSC website to the BSC facebook page. Tracey resigns as president and that leaves Steve as president. There needs to be goals for the new fields.
