GRUB. (Thinks this is a compliment. Pats hair.) Why, thank you.

FERMELDA. (Not so friendly.) Who are you, girlie?

SLUG. (Very unfriendly.) And what are you doing in our cave?

CINDERELLA. Why, I’m Cinderella. And I’m on my way to the ball. So (flounces skirt, strikes her prettiest pose.), where’s the prince. She said there’d be a prince.
