1. Use the Simply Scored Tool to score the 12 x 12 c/s at 4" and 8" in each direction.
2. Use the paper cutter to cut each corner at a diagonal. (I'm showing this on the Scoring tool so that it will show up better.)
3. Score each corner from the center point of the outside of the card stock to the point where the 4" and 8" marks cross. If you lay a C-Thru ruler on the c/s, you can easily score without having to make any kind of a mark on the card stock. 4. Pull each of the corner fold marks in to the center of the purse. This doesn't show very well.
5. Notice that in the squares to the left and to the right above, I have made a mark with my scoring tool at the center of the 4" section. I have marked it with black so that you can see it. You would only mark it with your scoring tool. Score from that center point to the corner where the 4" and 8" lines intersect. See below. DO THIS ON TWO SIDES ONLY.
6. Pull and fold the triangles forward into the box. 7. Now fold the entire purse together.
8. Cut one Top Note piece for the lid of the purse. Score it in half across the short side. Push an 1/8" Circle Punch all the way in from each side and punch to a hole for the ribbon to come through. (Add Designer Paper on the top before you score and punch if desired.) 9. Cut the ribbon for the handle (about 8"ish). Pull it through from the top to the inside and fasten it into place with Sticky Strip.
10. Pull off the pink part of the Sticky Strip and attach it to the outside back of the purse.
11. Attach Velcro to the top flap and close the purse. The Velcro may or may not partially go onto something decorative that you choose to add to the front of the purse. Here is the completed purse. (Remember, if you add Designer Paper to the Top Note piece, just do it before you score and punch.)
