1. Five people are lined up for tickets at a movie theater. How many different ways can they be lined up?

5. There are 35 people in a singing competition. If there are 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners, how many ways could the judges select the top three singers?
6. In this year’s school election, 7 students are running for office. How many different election results are possible? (no ties)

The exterior paint is available in the following colors: cherry, white, apricot, blush, crimson, wedgewood, eggshell, hunter, and ebony. How many different ways can they paint their house?
