NOTICE is hereby given that SEALED BIDS will be received by Jack Crider, Executive Director of the Humboldt Bay Harbor, Recreation and Conservation District, Woodley Island Marina, California until the hour of 10:00 a.m. on 04 April, 2016, at his office located at 601 Startare Drive, Woodley Island Marina, Eureka, California, for the sale of the following described item belonging to the Humboldt Bay Harbor, Recreation and Conservation District.

ITEM: One (1) Cummins V12 700, Tier 0 Diesel Engine, Serial Number 10277169

MINIMUM BID: $5,000

LOCATION: 364 Vance Avenue Samoa, California 95564

BIDDER MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE.

District remedies for Breach of Contract: If the successful bidder rejects or revokes acceptance of any item purchased or fails to pay purchase price when due, or otherwise repudiates or breached all or any part of the contract of sale, then the District may (a) withhold delivery of the item: (b) resell the item and recover damages as proved by Section 2706 of the Uniform Commercial Code of California; (c) recover damages for nonacceptance.

Full payment must be made in cash or by cashier's check by 3:00 p.m. April 08, 2016.

Humboldt Bay Harbor, Recreation and Conservation District reserves the right to reject any and all bids received for the above property.
