NOTIFICATION (CUSTOMS)

S.R.O. 246 (I)/2015.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 18 of the Customs Act,1969 (IV of 1969), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in its Notification No. S.R.O.568(I)/2014 dated the 26th June, 2014, namely:-

In the aforesaid Notification,- (a) in the Table, in column (1),- (i) after S.No.215 and the entries relating thereto in column (2), (3) and (4), the following new serial number and the entries relating thereto shall be inserted, namely:-

“215A 72.08 Flat- rolled products of iron or 12.5.”; and . non- alloy steel, of a width of 600 mm or more, hot- rolled, not clad, plated or coated.”;

(ii) after S.No.229 and the entries relating thereto in column (2), (3) and (4), the following new serial numbers and the entries relating thereto shall be inserted, namely:-

“229A 73.03 Tubes, pipes and hollow 12.5 . profiles, of cast iron.

229B. 73.04 Tubes, pipes and hollow 12.5 profiles, seamless, of iron (other than cast iron) or steel. 229C. 73.05 Other tubes and pipes (for 15 example, welded, riveted or similarly closed), having circular cross- sections, the external diameter of which exceeds 406.4 mm, of iron or steel.

229D. 73.06 Other tubes, pipes and 12.5.”; and hollow profiles (for example, open seam or welded, riveted or similarly closed), of iron or steel.

(b) in paragraph 2,- (i) in clause (f), the word “and” shall be omitted; and (ii) in clause (g), for the full stop at the end, the semi colon and word “,and” shall be substituted., and (iii) after clause (g), the following new clauses shall be added, namely:- “(h) imports of HRC by manufacturers of CRC under Sr.No.41 of Notification No. SRO.565(I)/2006 dated 5th June, 2006; and (i) imports of galvanized steel tubes (PCT 7306.9000) and metals shells (PCT heading 7304.9000) under Sr.No.8 and 51 of Notification No. SRO.565(I)/2006 dated 5th June, 2006”. ______[C.No.1/7/Tariff-I/2013-Pt-I]
