Introduction Conclusion Advent, which means “A coming; appropriately the coming of our Jesus is coming back again! He said of Himself, “Surely, I come Savior,” is intended as a time of devotion, with reference to the coming quickly.” of Christ; His birth, and His second coming to judge the world. During Advent, we focus on Jesus’ coming; generally His birth. The story is told of how Jesus was born in a stable; which was really a cave, and was SERMON TEXT wrapped in swaddling clothes, and how He was laid in a manger. We Revelation 1:8 focus on the fact that Jesus is the reason for the season; the Christmas season, in which we celebrate His birth—His First Advent. However, “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and for the next few moments, let us focus on the thought of Jesus’ return, who was, and who is to come, the Almighty. which will be His Second Advent—Jesus’ Coming Again!
