Summary Reporting to the Quality and Compliance Team Leader, the Quality Management Coordinator ensures Lutheran Services Carolinas-Child and Family compliance with regulatory agencies, Lutheran Services Carolinas practices, and accreditation bodies. This position works closely with all levels of the agency to implement best practices for the populations LSC serves.

Essential Functions

1. Participate in the coordination of the agency COA accreditation process

2. Provide monthly reports on compliance and improvement projects for both programs and support services including safety and risk compliance in residential facilities

3. Provide quarterly reports on agency incident reports, data from QM, QI, and PQI meetings

4. Provide technical support for regional Quality Management teams

5. Facilitate Quality Improvement team meetings

6. Perfom random internal audits across all programs

7. Participate in peer reviews for the agency and review and approve corrections associated with those reviews

8. Collect and analyze data for various Quality Management reports, improvement projects, and outcome measurements

9. Provide support in other LSC initiatives as required

Minimum Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field

Experience: 4 years with human service delivery; two years direct Quality Management experience within a human services agency preferred

Specific skills/abilities: Must be a “Qualified Professional.” Must have knowledge of human service delivery, knowledge of the processes for COA accreditation, knowledge of HIPAA compliance, ability to manage long term projects and tasks; Valid driver’s license and minimum age of 21 years.
