Northeast of Atlanta lies Decatur, which is a favorite for many professionals, young families, and couples. The park is a Location, location, location --- I love living right by the jewel -- there's places to go for runs, peaceful runs, and Beltline and Ponce City Market; lots of free activities/ to play with pets. It's at the heart of the beltline with events/festivals going on in the park most weekends; Ponce City Market on one side, Krog Street Market on close to several grocery stores; 15-20 minute drive to the other, and new places like Common Grounds and school New Realm in the middle. You won't have high-rises here like in Midtown, but you'll have the space to move around and have a lot of great places to hangout. Shuttle stop to campus is near by, ten to ffteen minutes to the "nice mall," ffteen minutes to fun neighborhoods like Virginia Highland, etc. There are a few places within walking distance to grab food, and a drink, but if you want to live where the night life is, this probably isn't the best option, though everything is convenient to get to by Uber. Also decently quiet; I never hear my neighbors. A lot of other Goizueta people are here, which is always nice for carpooling and getting together."
