BUSINESS/BUSINESS PERSON OF THE YEAR 2017 SELECTION GUIDELINES San Anselmo Chamber of Commerce

Annually the Chamber of Commerce honors an outstanding Business Person or Business of the Year. The selection is made from nominees by Chamber members. Please read the following guidelines and return the enclosed form with your choice for the nominee by MARCH 24, 2017.

Nominee for Business Person/Business of the Year must be a member of the San Anselmo Chamber of Commerce. Only members of the San Anselmo Chamber can submit nominations. The selection of the business person or business is based upon significant contributions the individual or business has made to benefit San Anselmo and the community.

FOR EXAMPLE: Community Involvement Support of local charitable organizations Improving San Anselmo’s economic climate

The Chairman of the Board of the San Anselmo Chamber of Commerce may appoint a committee to review the nominations and recommend a recipient, or the Board of Directors may select an award winner by ballot.

San Anselmo’s recipient will be honored by the Chamber at the “State of the Town & Business of the Year” dinner celebration and at Bank of Marin’s prestigious “Spirit of Marin” awards honoring Chamber businesses/people who give their time and talent to make Marin a better place to live and work at the 24th Annual Spirit of Marin awards on October 6, 2017, at St. Vincent’s by sponsoring a specially designed glass sculpture, picture and award’s luncheon.
