This is a temporary assignment at Google through ABE Services.
Position based in Mountain View, CA.
Do you live in or near the San Francisco Bay Area and speak and write one of the following languages at a native level of proficiency?

Help us make sure that Google is crisp, useful and fun in the language you know best. We are looking for highly reliable and detail- oriented linguists as language reviewers for Google products. Responsibilities:
Edit and proofread translated material, such as UI, online help, marketing material and outbound communication. Assist in developing terminology for new features and products. Maintain product specific terminology and style guide. Perform linguistic QA. Assist with some quick-turnaround translations.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
BA or equivalent in translation, your language of expertise or a related discipline. Experience as a translator, linguist or writer. Strong preference for experience in marketing/advertising translations and localization. Native-level language skills in a foreign language (see list above) and high level of proficiency in English. Meticulous approach to instructions and strict adherence to deadlines. Detail oriented and quality focused. Ability to work independently as well as work cooperatively with other internal resources. Ability to resolve linguistic issues in a quick and smooth manner.
We may provide a short on-site training but you will do the majority of work off-site.
