Medal of Honor Scholarship

The Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation, in partnership with the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) Educational Foundation, are pleased to offer a $5,000 annual scholarship to one each outstanding student committed to serving in the U.S. Army, Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps and enrolled in the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC). The four recipients shall exemplify the spirit of courage, selflessness, service to country, and pursuit of academic and military excellence in their academic and military endeavors, and extracurricular activities.

Medal of Honor Scholarships of $5,000 each will be presented to outstanding ROTC undergraduate students of the Air Force, Army, Navy, and Marine Corps. The primary criteria for selection will be a candidate’s demonstrated leadership performance and potential, and strong commitment to serve in the United States Armed Forces.

Candidates are required to be a United States citizen enrolled in ROTC, be of good moral character, exhibit academic achievement with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and have a demonstrated potential to serve as an officer in the United States Armed Forces.

Candidates must be majoring in an academic discipline at an accredited degree-granting four- year college or university in the United States. Candidates must be at least second-year students, enrolled full time as either a sophomore or junior at the time of application.
