EUROPEAN EXHIBITION OF THE BALKAN PIGEON AND POULTRY BREEDS AND EUROPEAN EXHIBITION TUMBLERS FOR SOUTHEASTERN EUROPE - VIROVITICA, CROATIA

19-21 February 2018 The European Balkan breeds show is organized by the Breeders Association small Animals „Pigeons“ Virovitica one of the 84 members of Croatian Association of Breeders of Small Animals, from 19th to 21th January 2018, in Halle, Štrosmayerova 106, 33000 Virovitica, Croatia. The show organizers cannot be held responsible for non-compliance or incorrect filling of registration forms. The exhibitor agrees to have his address and phone number published in the show catalogue.

1. Registration closing date: 01th December 2017. at the organizers ([email protected]). Official entry forms have to be completed separately according the EE sections – poultry and pigeons. Official entry forms have to be completed separately according the European exhibition (Balkan Pigeon and Poltry or European Exhibition Tumblers for Southeast Europe. No addition or modification of entries can be accepted after the official closing date for registrations (01.12.2017). Registration forms are available on the websites: http://www. cro.golub .com They are filled legibly in one of the three official languages of the EE (English). The contact person verifies the accuracy of information given on the registration sheet. Only registration forms coming from contact persons designated by national federation will be taken into account by the organizers. Individual entries from foreign exhibitors will not be accepted. Please use only the official forms. If possible, fill in the sheet on Internet.

2. Entry fees: Important: register all breeds from same section on the registration sheet of the relevant section. a) Single exhibits: poultry and pigeons: 4 €/cage; b) Catalogue: 6 € (mandratory) c) Breeders evening: 20 € (please add this to the registration form)

Payment of registration fees for breeders will be made only by the bank transfer. The filled Apllication forms will be returned after receipt of complete payment at the organizers within 14 days after registration dateline. Payment is made exclusively by bank transfer PRIVREDNA BANKA ZAGREB (IBAN HR1523400091110062721; BIC/SWIFT: PBZGNR2X, on Breeders Association small Animals „Pigeons“ Virovitica – Name of Assosiation will be writen in Croatian Udruga uzgajivača malih životinja „Golub“ Virovitica ).

3. Participation : All breeders, young (4 to 18 years, 1999 - 2013) or old, members of a national association, affiliated to the EE, have the right to exhibit in the European show. All breeds and colours that are included in the European standard and in the EE-breeds’ list (pigeons and poultry) can be exhibited. Breeds and colours only recognized in national standards (from all sections) of some countries, may be exposed, accompanied with their standard established in one of the 3 official languages (F-D-E). All breeds, wich aren’t accepted in EE or the National federations till now, could be presented. 4. Catalogue : Foreign exhibitors receive their catalogue via the stand of their countries. Catalogues, as well as awards and medals not withdrawn during the exhibition, will be transferred to breeders by their contact persons. 5- Exhibiting: a) Single exhibits of poultry and pigeons. b) Collection (4 exhibits of one breed, colour and characteristic) of poultry and pigeons. Each collection contains both genders, young and old birds. If a breeder has several collections, they will be differentiated, according to his choice, by their name (C1, C2, C3 etc.) c) *column ”Exibition” must be filled! Write no. 1 for European Exhibition of the Balkan Pigeons and Poltry, write no.2 for European Exibition Tumblers Southeastb Europe, write no. 3 for Internacionalle. Exibition .

6. Identification of exhibits:

All exhibits must be identifiable through the identification scheme of their origin nation. Rules of the individual affiliated countries applies. The maximum age of exhibits in the poultry and pigeon section shall be 6 years. (E.g. 2012- 2017). Open or named rings are not allowed.

7. Veterinary Regulations: Breeders who exhibited in a international show, less than 30 days before the animals transport to EE- European show, must present a good health certificate and an exhibition certificate. All bird species must come from districts where Newcastle Disease (ND) less than 30 days has not broken out. Animals issued from disease or restricted areas must not participate in the show. PIGEONS Animals must not come from a livestock where Newcastle disaese (ND) or bird flu broke out (than 30 days prior of the animals transport to the European Show) Pigeons must be vaccinated against Paramyxovirose. Vaccination should follow the laboratory manufacturer's directions POULTRY Animals must not come from a livestock where Newcastle disaese (ND) or bird flu broke out (- than 30 days prior of the animals transport to European Show) • Poultry must be vaccinated against Newcastle disaese (ND). The vaccination certificate must indicate the vaccination validity period. Vaccination is valid from 28 days after inoculation, until the booster vaccination date, required by the manufacturer (usually 1 year for inactive vaccines). The vaccine must have a marketing authorization for the concerned species , and the term of protection should be respected.

8. Show schedule : - birds acception: from 08:00 to 20,00h on 18.01.2018. - Judging: from 08:00 to 18,00h on 19.01.2018. - Official opening of the exhibition: 15:00 on 19.01.2018. - Open for visitors: from 15:30 to 20:00 on 19.01.2018. (Friday); from 07:00 to 20:00 on 20.01.2018. (Saturday); from 06:00 to 14:00 on 21.01.2018. (Sunday); - 20.01. 2018. (Saturday) at 19:30 h- Official dinner, hotel "Šulentić", Virovitica. - Closing the exhibition: 14:00 on 21.01.2018. (Sunday).

9. Animals selling:

Each exhibitor has the right to put exhibits up for sale. He registers his selling price on the registration form. This amount will be increased by the organizers of 20% for fees and will appear as such in the show catalogue. Animals from third countries (animal selling from nonexhibitors) cannot be sold. A buyback possibility can only be made upon the sale office opening. All sold animals must be dislodged and withdrawn from the exhibition in cardboards than must be bought by the organizers. Purchased animals can be dislodged immediately Friday after 14:00 and must have been withdrawn on Sunday, 20th January 2018. at noon at the latest (13:00). The organizers cannot be held responsible, if purchased animals, not withdrawn after that time were taken back by the exhibitor. The payment from the sale of animals will be paid through their National organizations at latest on 31th March 2018.

10. Special Prices:

The animals will be rewarded according to EE exhibition regulations.

1. European Master (collection exhibits) 2. European Champion (single exhibits) 3. E.E. Medals single exhibits 4. Special Award single exhibits

European Master (Collection):

The best collection of same variety and characteristics in each breed, represented with a minimum of 20 exhibits will get the title. The result for the best collection is obtained by adding the points of the 4 exhibits forming this collection. A collection must obtain at least 378 points. Both genders must be represented in one collection.

European Champion (single exhibits):

With a minimum of 20 exhibits registered in a breed, the European Champion of single exhibits will be attributed. The best animal, independently of the gender will get the prize. It must obtain at least 95 points.

Young breeders EE European show: European Master (Collection)

The best collection of same variety and characteristics in each breed, represented with a minimum of 3 breeders will get the title. A collection must obtain at least 372 points. European Champion (single exhibits): The best single exhibit of a breed, represented with a minimum of 12 exhibits will get the title of European Champion. It must obtain at least 94 points. Each winner receives a personalized diploma.

E.E. Medal: The EE gives one EE-medal per 200 exhibits in each section.

Special Award: one Special Award for every 50 animals will be awarded by the judges

Exhibitors’ Medals: Every exhibitor will receive an exhibitors' souvenir medal (exhibitors' medal). This medal cannot be handed out for absent exhibits. Trophies can be withdrawn by the contact persons, in their respective national stand.

11. Liability: A case of force majeure, unanticipated events, the loss, theft or death of an animal will not be compensated by the show organizers. The exhibits will be guarded and feeded during the show. Upon loss of animals, proof has to be produced in written form stamped and signed by the claim office of the European Exhibition (Croatian Association of Breeders of Small Animals stand). Last possible report of missing or falsely claimed animals is the 20:00 on 18th January 2018. Cages opening, for any reason during the exhibition, is prohibited.

12. Complaints: Last possible day for complaints is 01.April 2018. Any claim has to be made in written form and sent to: [email protected].

13. Trade and publicity exhibitors, wildlife photographer: Publicity in exhibition halls is only allowed with the organizers permission.
