Seneschal - we had a great revel; lots of people said it was fantastic; lots glad we had provided place to sit and be with friends (Myrranda’s memorial)

Exchequer - End-October balance: $240.00 Expenses: Cheque # 001 to Victoria United Chapter Society, for Machiavelli hall rental, $90.00 TOTAL EXPENSES: $90.00 Income: Machiavelli gate revenue, $115.00 Donation from University of Ithra Insula Magna Campus, $130.00 TOTAL INCOME: $245.00 Balance as of 25 Nov 07: $395.00 - Review of Books was done at November Investiture. - Copy of review form will be sent fm Principality Exchequer - Summary: No major problems, very few minor problems. Principality Exchequer is overall happy with Crickstow’s books. -

Herald - not here, report received after the meeting via email: Port business -- nothing to report.

Reminder to all that as of the beginning of November, all costs associated with the College of Heralds, i.e. registration of names, devices and badges are now at par with teh American dollar, and are $12.00 each.

As of the Crickstow Winter Investiture, the position of Silver Yale (Principality) Herald is now vacant. I am seriously considering putting my name in the ring for that position, but do not wish to cause any serious waves at the Port level with regards to maintaining Branch Status. I will not proceed with my application unless the Port discusses the issue and ramifications of me taking on a Principality position and agrees that there will be no advese effects to Crickstow.

In Service to the Tir Righ Coronet,

A&S - horses were produced for revel, banner was produced for revel, taking hiatus until after Xmas - illumination classes originally slated for the fall being moved to new year.

Old Business

Adopt-a-Sailor - box has been sent - we got a warrant officer as contact on the ground - box will be sent to whomever most needs it

Event report – Grand Ithra (3-4 November 2007) – Chancellor: Emma Blackwell - 57 students attended - Ithra showed profit of $185.00, donated $130.00 to Crickstow - overall pleased with CPAC as a site, despite issues with opening Sunday morning

Event report – Portentious Revel (3 November 07) – Autocrat: Theocharista - event worked out pretty well - some concerns about how early we closed - net profit on revel of $245.04 - kitchen condition first thing Saturday morning was not good – dishes still in dishwasher, floor grungy, oven hadn’t bee cleaned, counters not clean. - kitchen conflict between feast prep and an Ithra class; goes to lessons learned file.

Heraldic Symposium - Silver Yale has cancelled the symposium New Business

Moved: Exchequer to investigate legality within rules of Society for things like site fee reduction in return for service, or gift certificate for next event, etc. Moved by Emma Blackwell, seconded by Lilith la Perdue. Passed by acclamation.

Discussion of possible spring Ithra - spring Ithra fails for lack of victims to run it

Purchase of cash box - reimbursement approved to John Stenning-Johnson, $24.66

Purchase of hobby horses - Harbourmaster made three new hobby horses for use at port events - request reimbursement not to exceed $30.00; approved. John will get receipt to exchequer at earliest opportunity.

Tablecloths - June 25th meeting approved $50.00 for tablecloths. Request increase of another $50.00 (to total of $100.00) for table clothes. Moved by Lilith la Perdue, seconded by Aodeghan, passed by acclamation.

Finance committee - Moved: Financial committee shall consist of all paid SCA members who are members of the Port of Crickstow-on-Sea and who are in attendance at the council meeting. Seconded by Lilith la Perdue. Passed by acclamation.

Financial policy - Tabled pending information to be received from Principality CoE regarding proper wording of policy. - Moved: The seneschal has the right to make an expenditure up to $50.00 with agreement of a second council member not resident at the seneschal’s address, to be ratified by the council at the earliest convenient opportunity. Moved by Emma, seconded by Theocharista. Passed with 1 abstention.

UTR - University of Tir Righ is now a reality – put into force at November Investiture as last act of Ulf & Camoihn. - First session will be in May, in Dansescombe. - Is there any interest in hosting a session in, say the next six months? - Theocharista notes that Heraldic Symposium may well be held under UTR rules. Archery - Lilith la Perdue inquires, do we have a range, or access to one? - 25-yd range at Work Point; Base Medieval Club has contacts with Victoria Bowman Society; Eda Birch will contact them. - Aodeghan inquired about thrown weapons as well.

Regalia - Brass & copper bosun call donated to be part of Herald’s regalia for the port. Alexia will see about getting it cleaned.

Purchase of kitchen equipment for Crickstow - Request reimbursement for kitchen items, not to exceed $35.00 to Jessica Ewing. Passed by acclamation. - Alexia purchased a large stock pot and donated it to the port.
