The goal of this scale was to assist in determining the multiple factors that graduate students express as they progress through their program of studies (The Continuing Students Reaction Survey) as well as their reflections as to what factors came into play for their successful completion of their program of studies (The Completed Students Reflection Survey) Stevens, T. & Olivárez, A. (2005). Mathematics Interest Inventory. The goal of this scale was to determine the levels of interest exhibited by middle school students in mathematics related contexts. Hamman, D. & Olivárez, A. (2003). Learning to Teach Questionnaire. The goal for this scale was to determine pre-service students’ degree of progression in gaining practical experiences during their field-experiences period. It uses Granott’s theory of interaction and collaboration. Olivárez, A. (2000). Mathematics Self-Efficacy Scale. This scale was developed to determine the degree of confidence and competence that students supposed and demonstrated by using self-report perceptions of efficacy to specific mathematics tasks as well as the students’ actual performance in a 25-item algebra exam.
